Lead and coordinate design across bidding, pre-construction, and construction stages for large-scale social housing retrofit and capital works projects, ensuring compliance, collaboration, and delivery of coordinated design information. Manage design teams, consultants, surveys, budgets, design changes, client reviews, and sustainability requirements, while identifying opportunities for decarbonisation and design efficiency.

Manage design teams, consultants, surveys, budgets, design changes, client reviews, and sustainability requirements, while identifying opportunities for decarbonisation and design efficiency.
Requirements
- Candidates should have extensive construction design experience, strong leadership skills, and a track record managing complex projects, preferably in social housing, retrofit, and sustainability. They should understand design-and-build and two-stage/PCSA contracts, CDM responsibilities, building pathology, technical building systems, and design requirements for procurement and construction; a relevant bachelor's degree and CIOB or RIBA chartered membership are desirable.
