EHV/HV Substation Design Lead (Data Centers), Design Engineering EMEA

Design and manage high and medium voltage substation systems across multiple geographical regions while collaborating with vendors and utility providers. Support the full project lifecycle from site selection through to commissioning and system validation.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage highâ and mediumâvoltage substation systems across multiple regions
- Develop comprehensive electrical infrastructure designs using advanced engineering software
- Collaborate with regional vendors, manufacturers and utilities to select optimal equipment
- Create detailed construction documents and technical specifications meeting strict quality standards
- Support the full project lifecycle from site selection through commissioning and validation
- Coordinate with crossâfunctional teams including software, hardware, network engineers and supplyâchain specialists
- Drive technical safety and security standards while optimizing cost and capacity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience creating and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and submittals
- Design or construction administration of electrical distribution systems from low to high voltage
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of regional building codes and regulations
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving abilities
