You will shape the new design language, brand, and mobile app while owning the full design process from problem framing to shipped solution. You will work in close collaboration with engineers and product managers to ensure high-quality implementation and product experience.
Responsibilities
- Shape the new design language, brand identity, design system, and mobile app
- Own the full design process from ambiguous problem to shipped solution
- Drive consumer experiences such as onboarding, social features, retention, and learning loops
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers, iterating implementation together
- Propose initiatives and challenge assumptions with constructive alternatives
- Raise the overall design quality and mentor junior designers
Requirements
- Strong visual craft with polished, intentional work
- Portfolio demonstrating endâtoâend B2C product design and a clear point of view
- Experience shipping consumerâfocused products and understanding product metrics
- Ability to frame ambiguous problems and tell stories through design
- Confident design philosophy and willingness to push back with better ideas
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Bonus: prototyping, illustration, animation, motion, or social/viral product experience
- Bonus: background at consumer companies (e.g., Spotify, Strava)
- Bonus: earlyâstage or founding designer experience
- Bonus: comfortable with code for prototyping or frontâend polishing
