ASST SIGN Production Specialist / Graphic Designer

Prepare substrates and apply vinyl or printed graphics, perform finishing work, and conduct quality checks before and after production. Install signage when needed, maintain equipment and inventory, and assist customers and coworkers with other center duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance checks before and after sign construction
- Apply computerâgenerated vinyl or fullâcolor graphics to predetermined substrates
- Prepare substrates by cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining them for vinyl application
- Weed excess vinyl from computerâcut images
- Execute finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and mounting printed pieces
- Install signage at customer or offâsite locations as needed
- Report inventory levels and reorder stock to the manager
- Unload, store raw materials, and maintain clean storage areas
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and minor repairs
- Assist with frontâcounter duties, phone answering, and customer consulting
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Handsâon experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds
- Comfort working at waistâhigh tables and using hand motions for vinyl application
- Experience with lightâpower equipment
- Team player who can work without direct supervision
- Reliability, promptness, and responsibility
