Lead the Detail Design organization across multiple programs and manage engineering designers working on machinery and propulsion system components. Oversee design development, layouts, calculations, drawing reviews, and coordination with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, materials, and planning teams to meet specifications and support production.

Oversee design development, layouts, calculations, drawing reviews, and coordination with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, materials, and planning teams to meet specifications and support production.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school and six years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering, and design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include broad knowledge of ship specifications and detail design, leadership and communication experience, familiarity with EVMS, and experience developing plans, estimates, budgets, processes, and schedules.
