Graphic Designer

Create branded digital and print marketing communications, including layouts, illustrations, and other visual assets, while following NC State’s visual brand guidelines. Present concepts, incorporate feedback, manage projects and branded templates, and deliver final materials to campus partners.

Responsibilities

• Create custom internal and external marketing communications, digital and print campaigns, and motion graphics
• Develop original illustrations, images, and layouts adhering to NC State brand guidelines
• Present design concepts to team and campus partners and incorporate feedback
• Manage projects through the team’s project management system and deliver final assets
• Create and maintain branded templates for division and departmental use

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with visual/graphic arts experience, or a combination of training and experience
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) on Mac
• Familiarity with printing processes and pre‑press file proofing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail‑oriented with strong sense of typography, color, and layout
