Sr. Applications Engineer, Civil/Site Design Engineering

Design and optimize customer-specific site layouts for fuel cell installations, integrating equipment, utilities, power distribution, and supporting systems while meeting safety, code, and permitting requirements. Coordinate with customers, EPC contractors, and internal teams to assess sites, document designs, and identify cost-effective construction methods that support reliable operation and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize customer-specific site layouts for fuel cell installations, integrating equipment, utilities, power distribution, and supporting systems while meeting safety, code, and permitting requirements. Coordinate with customers, EPC contractors, and internal teams to assess sites, document designs, and identify cost-effective construction methods that support reliable operation and maintenance.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelorās or masterās degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering field and 10 or more years of experience designing site layouts for complex energy systems. Candidates should have CAD proficiency, knowledge of construction codes and power systems, strong customer-facing and project coordination skills, and the ability to optimize designs for cost, safety, and scalability.
