The Product Designer will create intuitive and functional user interfaces for the banking industry by translating high-level requirements into interaction flows. They will also be responsible for presenting design solutions to stakeholders and iterating based on feedback.
Responsibilities
- Design clean, inventive user interfaces for banking applications
- Translate high‑level requirements into interaction flows and visual artifacts
- Develop and maintain UI kits and design systems aligned with brand standards
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholder teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user journeys, process flows, and site maps
- Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and negotiate design decisions
- Stay current with UI trends, techniques, and emerging technologies
- Contribute to an Agile/Scrum team, delivering design work in sprint cycles
Requirements
- 4+ years of proven UI experience, preferably as a product designer or product‑oriented designer
- Understanding of design production and strong UX research skills (qualitative research a plus)
- Experience working on e‑commerce, digital sales, or banking projects
- Ability to identify opportunities and explore product and service concepts
- Proficiency with UI kits, design systems, and usability testing
- Strong negotiation skills to sustain and iterate proposals with stakeholders
- Demonstrated UI design ability with a solid portfolio
- Expertise in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
- Advanced knowledge of Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Maze, OmniGraffle or similar visual design tools
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user‑system interaction
- Ability to present designs and sell solutions to multiple stakeholders
- Creative and effective problem‑solving skills
- Up‑to‑date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
