Design Manager

Lead the design lifecycle for college campus capital projects, overseeing design teams, deliverables, schedules, budgets, quality reviews, and compliance with District standards and DSA requirements. Coordinate between the Capital Program Team, consultants, and District stakeholders, and manage design changes and DSA submissions through construction and certification.

Requirements

• Requires a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, urban planning, construction management, or a related field; at least 10 years managing facilities design or capital improvement projects; and at least five years working on educational facilities requiring DSA or OSHPD/HCAi certification. Candidates must have a current, valid architectural license and strong knowledge of DSA requirements, with experience in design management, contract administration, cost estimating, and project scheduling.
