- Develop technically sound design solutions for gas turbine engine components and provide production and field support for commercial engines. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, apply modeling and analysis tools, improve design processes, and communicate program status and risks.
Requirements
- Requires a master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in either field with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include engine-external design experience, proficiency with Siemens NX and Teamcenter, knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards, and experience with DFMEA, tolerance stack-ups, and ANSYS.
