Oversee design development and reviews, coordinate design criteria with engineering and manufacturing groups, and ensure designs meet specifications, production needs, and cost requirements.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school and six years of progressive technical experience, or an accepted equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred qualifications include broad knowledge of ship specifications, strong communication and leadership experience, familiarity with EVMS, and experience developing plans, budgets, estimates, processes, and schedules.
