Senior UI/UX Designer II

Lead end-to-end UX research and design for websites and applications, including evaluating existing systems, creating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, and delivering accessible, intuitive solutions. Coordinate design work across multiple clients and projects, collaborate with federal clients and engineers, and develop scalable design resources while mentoring junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX research and design for websites and applications, including evaluating existing systems, creating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, and delivering accessible, intuitive solutions. Coordinate design work across multiple clients and projects, collaborate with federal clients and engineers, and develop scalable design resources while mentoring junior designers.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree, the ability to obtain a Public Trust, and 10 or more years of professional design experience in user-centered design and UI/UX. Candidates should demonstrate strong research and design expertise, a portfolio of responsive web and mobile work, knowledge of Section 508 and USWDS standards, advanced coding and design-tool proficiency, and the ability to lead projects independently and collaboratively.
