Product Designer — UX & AI Implementation
Only Farmers Remote (🇬🇧 City of London, London, United Kingdom)
Identify usability issues through user feedback, product data, conversations, and testing, then design and refine user journeys and interfaces across mobile and web products. Direct coding agents to implement design changes, verify complete user journeys and edge cases, and maintain shared design patterns and a prioritized UX improvement backlog.
Responsibilities
- Identify friction through user feedback, product data and testing
- Design clear user journeys for discovery, booking, community and farmer tools
- Improve interaction design, visual hierarchy, content, accessibility and consistency
- Create briefs and acceptance criteria for coding agents and guide implementation
- Validate agent output, iterate until solutions work as intended
- Test complete journeys across screen states (loading, error, permission, etc.)
- Maintain shared design patterns and a prioritized UX backlog
- Document design changes, verification steps and known limitations
Requirements
- Strong UX/UI portfolio demonstrating usable, coherent products
- Practical experience delivering changes using coding agents such as Codex or Claude
- Excellent visual and interaction design judgment
- Ability to break work into manageable steps and communicate precisely
- Confidence conducting user research and prioritising problems
- Attention to detail and willingness to iterate
- No specific degree required; experience with mobile apps, marketplaces, accessibility or design systems is a plus
