The Head of Design will lead the overall design direction, visual identity, and design systems across all brand touchpoints. They will manage the design function, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and oversee the quality of creative output for marketing, product, and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall design direction and visual identity
- Lead brand, marketing, social, web, and productârelated design
- Create and maintain design systems and brand guidelines
- Turn ideas and concepts into highâquality visual work
- Work closely with the founders, marketing, content, and growth teams
- Set the creative direction for campaigns and major launches
- Review, improve, and maintain design quality across all channels
- Build and manage a network or team of designers as the company grows
- Explore new design trends, tools, and creative formats
- Ensure consistency across digital and offline brand experiences
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent design work
- Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual systems
- Ability to think strategically while remaining handsâon
- Excellent visual taste and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to take a project from concept to execution
- Comfortable working independently in a fastâmoving environment
- Experience leading designers or creative projects (4â8+ years)
- Experience with Figma and other modern design tools
- Motion, video, or 3D experience is a plus
