Senior Airfield Civil Engineer & Design Manager

Lead and manage aviation and airfield design across project stages, including planning, design submittals, reviews, and construction administration, while overseeing schedules, budgets, and design quality. Coordinate with stakeholders, guide design teams through project constraints, present design solutions, and occasionally inspect construction work for compliance.

Requirements

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, 8–12 years of relevant experience, and a Texas Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity within three months of hire. Candidates need aviation design and construction leadership experience, knowledge of FAA standards and airside and landside design, AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work from Houston, San Antonio, or Austin and travel between them.
