Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

Design high-quality, cost-effective fulfillment and distribution systems, managing multiple projects from concept through design approval and serving as the primary technical contact for suppliers. Support the Ops Engineering team during installation, commissioning, and launch across new builds, existing facilities, and retrofits.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to create highâquality, costâeffective fulfillment and distribution system designs
- Own multiple projects from concept through design approval
- Serve as primary technical contact for suppliers
- Hand off designs to Ops Engineering for installation, commissioning, and launch, and support implementation
- Work on greenâfield, brownâfield, and retrofit projects including automated fulfillment centers, crossâdock, reverse logistics, and transportation facilities
- Deliver templateâbased and customâdesigned solutions
- Contribute to hundreds of projects annually in a fastâpaced, ambiguous environment
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering (required)
- Masterâs degree in Engineering (preferred)
- Experience designing automated material handling, packaging, or robotics systems
