Lead the end-to-end design process for global financial products, from problem definition to high-fidelity UI implementation. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and compliance teams to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements while maintaining high usability.
Responsibilities
- Lead design of features from problem definition through launch, working closely with a product manager and engineering team
- Translate research, product requirements, and data into clear high‑fidelity user flows and interfaces
- Design within MAJORITY's design system and contribute scalable, well‑organized components
- Consider edge cases, error states, empty states, and loading scenarios as core design elements
- Collaborate with compliance, risk, and operations stakeholders to meet regulatory and KYC requirements without sacrificing usability
- Create prototypes and iterate based on feedback and product data, using AI tools like Claude
- Provide detailed delivery documentation for engineers, clarifying specifications, states, and edge cases
- Present work clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and articulate design rationale
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in consumer or mobile products
- Exceptional portfolio showing end‑to‑end product ownership
- Deep, practical expertise in Figma (variables, components, auto‑layout, disciplined naming)
- Strong visual design skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to use AI tools such as Claude for prototyping and prompt engineering
- Comfort working in English-speaking environments
- Experience using data to drive design decisions (e.g., funnel abandonment analysis)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder presentation skills
- Empathy for migrant communities and interest in financial inclusion
- Desirable: experience designing regulated financial products for immigrants, knowledge of card payment flows, and familiarity with design system evolution
