Community Engagement Specialist-Graphic Designer

Create print and digital design materials that communicate transportation and mobility information clearly, accessibly, and consistently with City of Charlotte brand standards. Collaborate with department staff, consultants, agencies, and community stakeholders to support mobility initiatives, public engagement, presentations, and communications projects.

• Create print and digital design materials that communicate transportation and mobility information clearly, accessibly, and consistently with City of Charlotte brand standards. Collaborate with department staff, consultants, agencies, and community stakeholders to support mobility initiatives, public engagement, presentations, and communications projects.

Requirements

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communication, graphic art, fine art, or a related field, plus two years of progressively responsible experience in public relations, media relations, or communications, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Candidates should have strong graphic design skills, proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, the ability to create ADA-compliant materials, and the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
