Design Technologist

Prepare preliminary designs, base plans, construction drawings, and as-built drawings for municipal infrastructure projects, including sewers, water mains, roads, and sidewalks. Maintain engineering drawings and databases, coordinate with design, construction, infrastructure, and survey staff, and provide technical support and public infrastructure information.

Requirements
- Requires a three-year college diploma in civil engineering, architectural studies, or a related field, plus four years of drafting experience in a municipal CAD environment. Candidates must hold or be eligible for OACETT membership with a C.Tech., C.E.T., or A.Sc.T. designation, have strong knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD, and hold a valid Ontario Class G driver's licence.
