Lead UX Designer

Lead UX strategy and design for the eMaryland Marketplace Advantage modernization, conducting research and creating user journeys, workflows, prototypes, and accessible designs. Establish reusable UX standards, collaborate across business and technical teams, review vendor deliverables, maintain design documentation, and improve solutions through testing and user feedback.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX strategy and design for the eMaryland Marketplace Advantage modernization, conducting research and creating user journeys, workflows, prototypes, and accessible designs. Establish reusable UX standards, collaborate across business and technical teams, review vendor deliverables, maintain design documentation, and improve solutions through testing and user feedback.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelorâs degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, interaction design, information architecture, computer science, or a related field, plus at least eight years of relevant UX/UI or product design experience. Candidates need experience leading enterprise or government application design, strong research and prototyping skills, accessibility knowledge, Agile experience, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate complex processes into intuitive experiences; U.S. work authorization and successful completion of a fingerprint-based background investigation are also required.
