Sr. Industrial Design Engineer, GES NA Design Engineering

Lead the development of safe, cost-effective designs and process solutions for fulfillment, sortation, and transportation facilities, including new builds, retrofits, and complex automated systems. Manage multiple projects, coordinate internal teams and vendors, establish consistent engineering standards, and communicate technical roadmaps and business cases to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of safe, cost-effective designs and process solutions for fulfillment, sortation, and transportation facilities, including new builds, retrofits, and complex automated systems. Manage multiple projects, coordinate internal teams and vendors, establish consistent engineering standards, and communicate technical roadmaps and business cases to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Requires at least five years of design and innovation or research and development experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, engineering design project management experience, and familiarity with Excel, Project, and CAD software. Preferred qualifications include progressive specialty experience, a master's degree, knowledge of systems and reliability analysis, experience with automated material handling and high-speed manufacturing, and design-for-safety expertise.
