UX designer - Handhaving Vreemdelingen

You will design accessible and user-friendly applications for the Immigration Enforcement department to improve operational processes. This involves conducting user research, creating prototypes, and validating designs with stakeholders and users.
Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gather user needs
- Develop personas, user journeys, and service blueprints
- Design wireframes and low/high‑fidelity prototypes for the Handhaving Vreemdelingen application
- Validate prototypes with end‑users and stakeholders
- Support and evolve the Design System
- Ensure designs meet WCAG accessibility criteria
- Work within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) DevOps teams
- Attend on‑site user research and co‑design sessions as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Communication and Multimedia Design, Industrial/Product Design, User Experience Design or related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a UX Designer or similar role
- Experience designing for large organisations, preferably within government
- Knowledge of enterprise‑level UX for internal systems
- Proficiency in Agile Scrum environments
- Ability to perform user research, create personas, user journeys and service blueprints
- Skills in wireframing and high‑fidelity prototyping
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
