UX designer - Handhaving Vreemdelingen

You will design accessible and user-friendly applications for the Immigration Enforcement department to improve operational processes. This involves conducting user research, creating prototypes, and validating designs with stakeholders using Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Research user needs through qualitative and quantitative methods
- Develop personas, user journeys, and service blueprints
- Design wireframes and low/high‑fidelity prototypes for the Handhaving Vreemdelingen application
- Validate prototypes with users and stakeholders
- Contribute to the Design System and ensure consistency
- Apply WCAG standards to guarantee accessibility
- Collaborate with DevOps teams following the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Participate in on‑site user research and co‑design sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Communication and Multimedia Design, Industrial/Product Design, User Experience Design or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a UX Designer or similar role
- Proven experience designing for large organizations, preferably government
- Experience with enterprise‑level UX for internal systems
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum environments
- Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative user research
- Skills in creating personas, user journeys, service blueprints, wireframes, and high‑fidelity prototypes
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
