The role focuses on designing intuitive and scalable content authoring experiences within the Sanity Studio headless CMS platform. This includes developing user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline content workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive content authoring, editing, review, approval, and publishing experiences within Sanity Studio
- Develop user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and highâfidelity designs aligned with product goals
- Define interaction patterns, UX standards, and design principles for scalable content operations
- Collaborate with design system teams to create authoring controls, previews, guardrails, and workflows
- Work with content strategists, marketers, UX designers, and platform teams to understand requirements
- Design experiences that support content models, metadata, taxonomy, governance, localization, and reuse
- Streamline workflows to reduce manual effort and improve usability at scale
- Conduct user research, feedback analysis, and usability testing to refine designs
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align requirements and UX decisions
- Advocate for userâcentered and contentâfirst design while balancing delivery timelines
Requirements
- Over 7 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, Service Design, or related fields
- At least 3 years focused on contentâfirst authoring within headless CMS systems
- Strong portfolio demonstrating endâtoâend product design for complex business challenges
- Expertise in userâcentered design methodologies, interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within Agile development environments
