The Design Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality, technical coherence, and construction viability of industrial and data center projects from design to execution. They will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage design deliverables, and lead technical meetings with clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise design of industrial construction and data‑center projects from offer phase to execution
- Manage and control design deliverables, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance and deadlines
- Lead coordination among architects, engineering consultants, BIM managers and multidisciplinary technical teams
- Propose technical, constructive and innovative improvements and optimizations
- Conduct technical client meetings, resolve design issues and manage project modifications
- Oversee BIM integration, technical documentation, 3D models and specialty coordination
- Drive continuous improvement of design processes, standards and best practices
- Plan, coordinate and support professional growth of technical team members
Requirements
- Degree or Master’s in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in complex industrial or real‑estate projects
- Strong background in design coordination and BIM management
- Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD or similar tools
- High level of English and/or French
- Leadership, negotiation and cross‑functional coordination abilities
- Experience managing technical teams and mentoring staff
