The consultants will build a reusable UX methodological framework and toolkit to identify user needs and determine appropriate support levels for public sector digital projects. They will also conduct user research, map user journeys, and provide recommendations to evolve the existing Design System.
Responsibilities
- Identify and understand the various user groups of the public‑sector digital services
- Map target audiences and create personas based on research
- Conduct user research using interviews, observations, questionnaires, and qualitative/quantitative analysis
- Develop a reusable UX evaluation framework and a grading grid for UX support levels
- Create a toolbox of reusable methods and assets (interviews, personas, user journeys, workshops, testing grids)
- Make methods accessible to non‑UX profiles and define a testing methodology to measure solution effectiveness
- Assist teams in integrating user research early in project scoping
- Provide templates, guides and tools, and evolve the Design System based on research insights
- Deliver deliverables including audience maps, persona repository, UX grading grid, methodology catalogue, testing and measurement approach, and UX recommendations for the Design System
Requirements
- Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative UX research (interviews, user testing, personas, user journeys)
- Ability to turn research findings into concrete recommendations and methodologies
- Experience working in large organisations or the public sector (strong advantage)
- Knowledge of accessibility, inclusion and Design Systems (strong advantage)
- Proficiency with Figma / FigJam and user‑testing tools such as Maze or A/B testing platforms
- Native French language proficiency (mission conducted entirely in French)
- Freelance status with availability for a hybrid mission (minimum 50 % onsite)
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant UX research work
