Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

You will design high-quality, cost-effective fulfillment and distribution systems while managing multiple projects from concept to design approval. You will also serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers and support the operations team during installation and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop costâeffective fulfillment and distribution system solutions
- Own multiple projects from concept through design approval
- Serve as primary technical contact for suppliers throughout project execution
- Support operations engineering during installation, commissioning and launch phases
- Design greenâfield, brownâfield, and retrofit fulfillment centers, crossâdock and transportation facilities
- Operate in a fastâpaced, ambiguous environment on highâimpact, highâvisibility projects
- Lead technical discussions and ensure designs meet safety, reliability and performance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering design projects
- Experience in design/innovation, R&D, manufacturing, process or industrial engineering
- Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, dynamics, analysis, statistical and reliability methods
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies and highâspeed manufacturing
- Designâinâsafety expertise
- Lean principles and process design experience
