Graphic Designer for Signs and Large Format Graphics

The graphic designer will prepare comprehensive layouts, mockups, and proofs for print reproduction while creating computer-generated graphics for signage. They are also responsible for inspecting jobs for quality and assisting the production team with equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive layouts, mockups, proofs and copy for print reproduction according to client instructions
- Create computerāgenerated fullācolor graphics and/or vinyl output for printing or application
- Perform logo modifications and source highāquality digital files
- Prepare files with bleeds, crop marks, dieālines, and other finishing layers; archive files for future use
- Inspect all jobs for accuracy and quality before production
- Ensure correct material and device settings are used for each job
- Assist the production team as needed
Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in graphic design and print production
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of graphics programs and output devices such as vinyl plotters, largeāformat printers, laser engravers, and CNC routers
- Good math and proofāreading skills
- Ability to multiātask in a fastāpaced environment (approximately 10 projects per day)
- Exceptionally detailāoriented
