WordPress Web Designer / Web Specialist

The specialist will independently manage and update corporate WordPress websites, including editorial sections, project pages, and product catalogs. They will collaborate with the graphic design lead to transform provided layouts and materials into responsive, functional web pages.

Responsibilities

• Transform design mockups and content into fully functional, responsive WordPress pages and templates
• Build and maintain product catalog structures, including custom post types and taxonomies
• Configure and manage WooCommerce for large product inventories
• Optimize images and ensure fast page load times
• Implement SEO best practices for URL structure, redirects and content organization
• Install, configure and resolve plugin incompatibilities
• Collaborate with the graphic/web lead to ensure visual consistency
• Work autonomously to receive briefs and deliver complete site sections

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with WordPress and block‑based visual editors
• Experience building structured corporate websites and product catalogs
• Ability to create and manage templates, categories, taxonomies, and custom post types
• Experience with WooCommerce or similar e‑commerce solutions
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Capability to handle responsive design across desktop, tablet and mobile
• Familiarity with custom fields (ACF) and similar tools
• Graphic sensibility and understanding of UX/UI principles
• Image optimization for the web
• Basic on‑page SEO knowledge
• Ability to install, configure and troubleshoot plugins
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• Basic JavaScript/PHP editing skills
