The candidate will analyze existing software interfaces to create a structured UI inventory and define components for a unified design system. They will collaborate with product owners and developers to establish rules and guidelines for cross-project consistency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing UI and interaction elements across software products
- Create a structured UI inventory with reusable components, variants and interaction patterns
- Identify similarities, differences and opportunities for standardisation
- Derive functional requirements for reusable components
- Define initial component rules and guidelines for a cross‑project design system
- Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI leads and developers
- Document findings to support future implementation and evolution of the design system
- Optionally prototype selected components, including states and behaviours
- Explore how tools or AI can support UI component capture and evaluation
Requirements
- Studying Computer Science, Media Informatics, UX/UI Design, Software Engineering or a related field
- Interest in UI/UX, interaction design and design systems
- Ability to analyse existing systems and identify common structures
- Structured, careful and independent work style
- Strong documentation skills for complex requirements
- Ideally some experience with frontend technologies
- Optional knowledge of AI/LLMs and experience with Git, Figma, design tokens or component‑based UI frameworks
