Primary Design Manager

Lead the design, construction, and maintenance of physical and natural environments, focusing on soil mechanics, seismic analysis, and industrial structures. Manage a technical team, overseeing staffing, performance development, and the execution of civil engineering roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate design, construction and maintenance of physical and natural environments, including soil mechanics, seismic analysis and foundations for GE Vernova equipment
- Define design roadâmaps and civilâengineering requirements for underground and aboveâground works
- Perform cost estimation, constructability assessments and sequencing
- Apply local civilâengineering codes, steel, concrete and geotechnical principles
- Analyze and design industrial structures for static and dynamic loads
- Lead smallâscale projects, mentor junior staff and develop team consensus
- Modify procedures to ensure quality, volume and schedule standards are met
Requirements
- Significant experience in digital audio workstation environments (outside the U.S.) or at least 4 years of relevant experience (U.S.)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical education
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Leadership and peopleâmanagement capabilities
- Ability to influence and lead small teams
- Proven problemâidentification and resolution skills
- Analytical and organizational abilities
