The Design Manager leads the visual expression of the HIA brand across digital, environmental, and corporate channels while overseeing the in-house creative studio. The role involves translating briefs into creative concepts, maintaining brand identity systems, and guiding junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the visual expression of the HIA brand across digital, environmental, and corporate channels
- Oversee the in‑house creative studio and manage workflow priorities
- Translate briefs into creative concepts that align with brand guidelines
- Maintain and evolve brand identity systems to ensure consistency
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and development opportunities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to deliver integrated brand experiences
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (or vocational certificate with 9 years experience)
- Minimum 6 years of professional design experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience leading design teams or projects
- Strong portfolio showcasing brand identity work across multiple mediums
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
