The Web Designer is responsible for creating responsive, aesthetically pleasing, and user-friendly websites using modern web technologies. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop wireframes, prototypes, and SEO-optimized code to enhance user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop aesthetically pleasing, userâfriendly websites using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and related technologies
- Create responsive layouts that work seamlessly across desktops, tablets, and smartphones
- Write structured, maintainable, and SEOâoptimized HTML markup following best practices
- Enhance website functionality with JavaScript and jQuery to improve interaction and engagement
- Collaborate with developers, content creators, and project managers to ensure design consistency and meet timelines
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and storyboards to visualize website layouts and user flows
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and technical challenges efficiently
- Stay current with web design trends, tools, and technologies such as CSS Flexbox, Grid, and new scripting techniques
- Ensure crossâbrowser compatibility and address browserâspecific issues
- Conduct thorough testing to identify bugs and ensure a smooth user experience
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Web Designer with a strong portfolio
- Degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field (preferred)
- Handsâon experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Photoshop/Dreamweaver
- Solid understanding of responsive design, crossâbrowser compatibility, and SEOâfriendly coding
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
