The designer will drive the development of intuitive content authoring experiences within Sanity Studio to streamline complex workflows. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and design patterns that ensure scalable content operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive content authoring, editing, review, approval, and publishing experiences within Sanity Studio
- Create detailed user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and highâfidelity designs aligned with product goals
- Define interaction patterns, UX standards, and design principles for scalable authoring controls
- Collaborate with experience and design system teams to implement components, previews, guardrails, and workflows
- Partner with content strategists, marketers, and platform teams to address metadata, taxonomy, governance, localization, and reuse needs
- Streamline workflows to reduce manual effort and improve usability at scale
- Conduct discovery activities, leveraging user feedback, analytics, research, and usability testing
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to align requirements and design strategies
- Advocate for userâcentered and contentâfirst design principles while balancing delivery timelines
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, Service Design, or related fields
- 3+ years focusing on contentâfirst authoring within headless CMS platforms
- Strong portfolio demonstrating endâtoâend product design for complex business scenarios
- Expertise in userâcentered design, interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable user experiences
