Senior UX / Digital Product Designer (Mensch), Schwerpunkt FinTech

You will lead the end-to-end UX and product design process, from initial problem framing and discovery to final delivery and validation. You are responsible for creating high-quality UX concepts, UI designs, and design systems while facilitating workshops and managing stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own the full UX and product design process from discovery to delivery
• Structure vague problem spaces (problem framing, scope, hypothesis generation)
• Develop robust UX concepts for complex digital products
• Create information architectures, user journeys and end‑to‑end flows
• Translate requirements into testable UX specifications
• Plan and conduct qualitative research (interviews, tests, workshops)
• Synthesize insights and produce actionable recommendations
• Design high‑quality UI and design systems
• Facilitate workshops for project kickoff, vision definition and prioritisation
• Advocate for UX and design decisions with stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with development teams during implementation
• Self‑organise complex project phases and maintain ownership

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX/Product Design experience
• Multiple years of agency work with concurrent projects
• Strong expertise in UX strategy and end‑to‑end product development
• Proven ability to conduct user research and translate insights into design solutions
• High visual quality standards (layout, typography, design systems)
• Fluent German (minimum B2, ideally C1) for workshop facilitation
• Proficient with Figma
• Interest in AI tools and AI‑augmented workflows
