Sr. Innovation & Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions to complex material flow and efficiency problems within the global supply chain. Lead design and innovation efforts for the transportation network while managing multiple projects and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Invent, design, and implement solutions for complex material flow and efficiency problems across Amazon’s supply chain
• Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts for transportation network equipment, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate cost‑effective solutions on tight timelines
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while influencing and negotiating with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors
• Provide technical leadership for large‑scale engineering projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development experience
• Experience managing engineering design projects
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• Strong technical problem‑solving and project management skills
