Design Engineer, RSR Design Engineering

Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects, including the design and integration of automation solutions for warehouses and delivery centers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop simulation models and optimize facility layouts for efficiency and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for largeâscale engineering projects, retrofits, and building designs
- Design efficient layouts for warehouses and delivery centers, optimizing space and workflow
- Integrate automation solutions into facility designs ensuring scalability and efficiency
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to develop simulation models and evaluate design options
- Conduct spatial integration and trade studies, managing schedule, scope, and cost from concept to completion
- Create and refine delivery station layouts using CAD software
- Analyze demand projections to inform scalable design decisions
- Participate in design reviews and coordinate with architects and civil engineers
- Troubleshoot design challenges and perform capacity analyses
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial, operations, manufacturing, or project engineering experience
- 3+ years of maintenance or engineering experience
- 3+ years of refrigeration industry experience
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree in a technical field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME experience
- Experience with material handling equipment, automation, or reliability/maintenance environments
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
