The Product Designer will define the next generation of Kobalt's product and brand by creating intuitive workflows and a robust design system. They will also own the end-to-end design and implementation of the company website and evolve the visual identity.
Responsibilities
- Design complex product workflows from first principles, collaborating with engineering from concept to shipped product
- Establish and maintain a design system with reusable components and interaction patterns
- Own Kobaltās website endātoāend, handling visual direction, information architecture, implementation, and iteration
- Evolve visual identity across product and website as the company grows
- Conduct user research and translate messy workflows into simple, thoughtful interfaces
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing and shipping software products, preferably complex B2B or enterprise applications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual craft and thoughtful interaction design
- Experience building or contributing to a design system
- Ability to work directly in code and use modern AIāassisted development tools
- Exceptional systems thinking and information architecture skills
