The UI/UX Designer will create and manage Design Systems while developing interactive HMI interfaces for automotive digital displays. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define visual styles, develop prototypes, and validate designs on vehicle hardware.
Responsibilities
- Create, develop and manage Design Systems, including asset structuring and change‑request handling
- Design and develop UI for digital automotive displays with interactive content
- Produce low‑fidelity prototypes to illustrate interaction concepts and HMI flows
- Collaborate with feature owners, component specialists and graphic designers on new functionalities
- Analyse requirements and functional specifications against software targets; monitor HMI progress and validate on vehicle hardware
- Conduct workshops and design meetings with clients; produce periodic technical reports
Requirements
- Strong experience in UI Design, Visual Design and Design Systems
- Solid UX design knowledge
- Excellent proficiency with Figma
- Full mastery of Adobe suite (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.)
- Experience with low‑fidelity HMI prototyping tools (Figma, Protopie or equivalents)
- Fluent Italian and English (both written and spoken)
- TISAX Level 2 certification
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites in Italy and abroad
- Preferred: automotive HMI/infotainment experience, full HMI development cycle knowledge
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Waterfall/Agile Scrum methodologies
- German language knowledge is a plus
