You will design and evolve the end-to-end product experience, from discovery to production, while focusing on AI-native features like agents and copilots. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to maintain the design system and conduct continuous user research.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the full AssessFirst experience from problem discovery to production
- Collaborate daily with Lead Designer, Product Managers, Frontâend Engineers and ML Engineers to turn complex problems into simple, intuitive experiences
- Contribute to product decisions, challenge solutions, rapidly prototype and test ideas before scaling
- Imagine and design new AIâdriven interactions such as agents, copilots, conversational and voice interfaces, and generative experiences
- Create endâtoâend features and experiences, from discovery through launch, in partnership with Product Managers and Engineering
- Maintain and evolve the AssessFirst design system and ensure high visual and motion quality across all platforms
- Build interactive or functional prototypes and work closely with Frontâend Engineers to ship productionâready solutions
- Conduct continuous user research, usability testing and usage analysis, measuring postâlaunch effectiveness
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience on digitally delivered products
- Experience designing AI agents, copilots, conversational UI or voice AI
- Proven track record creating or evolving design systems
- Strong product mindset and ability to work with loosely defined problems
- Good understanding of web technologies and ability to collaborate with engineering teams
- Advanced mastery of Figma and FigJam, including components, prototyping and design systems
- Regular use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and interest in FigmaMake, Cursor, v0, Lovable or Framer
- Professional fluency in English
