VDC BIM Designer, DC Design Engineering

The VDC BIM Designer will create and maintain federated BIM models for data centers, performing clash detection and design coordination. They will also collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure building code compliance and high-quality construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain consolidated BIM models and templates using Revit and Navisworks
• Create and update construction documentation for data center projects
• Enforce BIM standards and conduct quality audits
• Lead design coordination meetings for clash detection and resolution
• Collaborate with internal groups, external suppliers, consultants, and contractors
• Support information exchange processes and respond to construction phase requests
• Travel to data center sites for evaluations and surveys as needed

Requirements

• Experience with design, construction, or operation of mission‑critical facilities
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of Autodesk Revit BIM coordination experience
• 3+ years producing construction drawings for mission‑critical facilities
• Experience with Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud tools
• Understanding of building codes and regulations
