The Graphic Designer is responsible for the preparation, technical inspection, and adjustment of graphic files to ensure quality and compliance with print production specifications. They will manage color adjustments, perform final quality checks, and collaborate with departments to meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit and perform technical checks on files for offset printing
- Manage and adjust colors according to production requirements
- Adapt layouts to meet technical specifications
- Check margins, bleeds, cut marks and other production parameters
- Identify and correct technical problems in files
- Conduct final quality inspection before printing
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Manage multiple projects while adhering to required timelines
Requirements
- Prior experience in a PrePress role, preferably in label or packaging industry
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Very good command of the English language
- Strong understanding of printing processes and technical specifications
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues in production files
- High attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
- Effective multitasking skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Team spirit, reliability and professionalism
- Preferred: knowledge of Esko ArtPro / ArtPro+
