The role involves redefining and creating product and user experience designs for new categories while leading industrial design activities from concept to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design aesthetics, quality, and manufacturing feasibility align with brand objectives.
Responsibilities
- Redefine and embed product and UX design for new categories
- Lead industrial design activities and create compelling design archetypes
- Translate consumer insights into device, ecosystem and UI/UX concepts
- Author design solutions and inspire internal and external partners
- Manage end‑to‑end design output from concept to final production
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations and brand teams to ensure manufacturability and quality
- Oversee design presentations, appearance models, CMF, and prototype verification
- Build and mentor multi‑disciplinary design teams
- Maintain design excellence through external agency coordination
Requirements
- Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in industrial design and consumer electronics, with strong project management and creative leadership skills. A bachelor's degree in industrial design or a related field is required, along with proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools.
