Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for critical data‑center infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate mechanical designs
• Ensure designs comply with regional regulations and industry standards
• Oversee quality‑assurance processes for mechanical design accuracy
• Select vendors and manage material specifications
• Create and review technical documentation and specifications
• Resolve technical issues during design and implementation
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on mechanical challenges
• Integrate HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems with mechanical designs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for data‑center projects
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Fluent Japanese and English communication skills
• Deep knowledge of local mechanical codes and standards
• Experience managing complex mechanical design projects
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material selection
