A Junior Product Designer will help shape intuitive digital experiences for a global workforce platform, creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity designs while collaborating with product, engineering and operations in a remote‑first environment.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity interfaces for new and existing product features
- Take designs from concept through implementation, QA and final shipped experience
- Contribute to and maintain a scalable Figma design system ensuring consistency
- Partner with product managers and engineers throughout the development lifecycle
- Conduct lightweight user research and usability checks to identify improvement opportunities
- Incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into iterative design solutions
- Prepare polished, developer‑ready designs, specifications and interaction details
- Stay engaged during implementation to ensure design quality
- Translate complex workflows such as multi‑entity onboarding and payroll processes into simple interfaces
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product and UX design thinking and process rationale
- Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, components and design systems
- Solid understanding of user‑centered design principles, information architecture and interaction design fundamentals
- Strong communication skills for explaining design decisions and incorporating feedback
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and collaborate in an asynchronous remote team
- Comfort with distributed, remote‑first teamwork
- Curiosity about B2B SaaS, payroll, HR technology or workforce management (plus)
