ECE Graphic Designer (Student Temporary)

The graphic designer will create visual media such as flyers, brochures, and online graphics for ECE academic programs and events. They will also collaborate with department units to ensure brand standards are met and web content remains current.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing materials and recommend best practices for displaying content to meet department objectives
- Design flyers, brochures, posters, online graphics, and other visual media for ECE academic programs, events, and labs
- Collaborate with departmental units to keep associated webpages or links current and dynamic
- Follow the University’s brand identity guidelines regarding fonts, colors, and logo usage
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (must be a current University of Michigan‑Dearborn student)
- Experience with graphic design programs such as InDesign, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools
- Excellent written communication and organization skills
- Highly detail‑oriented with strong time‑management abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to the university's brand identity guidelines
