Graphic Designer (Fixed Term Contract)

The Graphic Designer will deliver creative design solutions that support UCL's brand, profile, and reputation across various channels. They will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop concepts, storyboards, and final assets while ensuring brand consistency.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts, storyboards and production assets for campaigns, social, motion, web, print and events
• Maintain and activate the newly refreshed UCL brand across faculties and external partners
• Create tools, resources and guidance to enable consistent brand usage
• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, partners and suppliers on high‑profile projects
• Contribute to brand training, guidance and communities of practice
• Ensure designs are accessible, inclusive and align with UCL standards

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design expertise
• Experience with branding, typography, colour theory, layout and composition
• Ability to take concepts from brief through production and delivery
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA)
• Experience across digital, social, print and environmental media
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Curiosity about emerging design trends and technologies
