The Web Designer will lead the visual design and development of high-quality multimedia online learning content for nationally significant education programs. They will collaborate with academics and developers to ensure best-practice digital learning experiences while maintaining accessibility and copyright standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high‑quality multimedia online learning content, including videos, animations, interactive activities and quizzes
- Lead visual design of online education programs, collaborating with developers, educational designers and academics
- Create and maintain best‑practice multimedia materials and web content for learning
- Maintain and improve overall education delivery standards and student experience
- Advise on compliance requirements such as accessibility and copyright
Requirements
- Relevant degree or extensive experience in web design and development
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front‑end technologies
- Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
- Proficiency in video recording, editing and production
- Strong graphic design skills for web and learning management systems
- Ability to ensure accessibility and copyright compliance
