Innovation & Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

Design and implement engineering solutions for complex material flow and human/machine efficiency within the global supply chain. Lead the development of transportation network solutions through equipment specification, site layout, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Design facility layouts and material flow solutions from project selection through launch
- Invent and implement engineering solutions for material flow and human/machine efficiency across the global supply chain
- Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts for transportation network equipment specification, process design, site layout, and IP considerations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver costâeffective solutions quickly
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while influencing and negotiating with business partners, contractors and vendors
- Provide technical leadership for largeâscale engineering projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of design/innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience managing engineering design projects
- Strong technical problemâsolving ability
- Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, dynamics, analysis, statistical and reliability analysis, decision making
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, highâspeed manufacturing
- Designâinâsafety experience
- Process design based on Lean principles
