Founding Product Designer
Harmonica Labs Remote (🇬🇧 City of London, London, United Kingdom)
Lead the design of a voice-first AI companion for seniors, focusing on interaction models, generative interfaces, and accessibility. You will conduct rapid field experiments with real users to shape the product strategy and build the company's design system.
Responsibilities
- Research and define interaction models for voice‑first AI companions
- Prototype, test and iterate designs with seniors in real homes
- Create generative UI components, motion and embodiment concepts
- Develop and maintain a design system for the product
- Collaborate with product, engineering and research teams
- Help shape product strategy and future design roles
Requirements
- Passion for human‑computer interaction and AI‑driven voice interfaces
- Experience designing consumer products and a strong portfolio
- Ability to prototype quickly using Figma, code, motion or AI tools
- Comfort conducting user research with older adults
- Understanding of accessibility and simple, trustworthy design
- High agency, willingness to test early and iterate fast
